Depends on so many things... in general the market may continue to drop because a lot of people may be losing their homes/jobs and not as many people will be buying... 
If you think your jobs is going to be secure for at least the next ten years even through worse rough patches than covid19 and you’re savings is healthy then go for it. I assume you’re asking because you already have yourself financially stable and your credit in check.

as long as you know 100% that you will be able to pay your mortgage, insurance, and maintenance costs, go for it. If your not 100% sure then I wouldn’t. There are going to be tons of foreclosures from this.

I just spoke with a realtor today about SELLING my home and she said it's a terrible terrible time to sell but a GREAT time to buy lol.

Depends on where you are. Some places just made real estate non essential.  My mom was starting the process of selling and buying, across states since they're military. And where shes moving the real estate agent just let her know that they are now nonessential and hoping to be back in June

My husband and I are buying a bigger home at the moment. There are a few things that we considered before making this decision. We’ve outgrown our home.  The house we’re selling is in a desirable neighborhood where houses are still selling in a day, so our realtor says we won’t have an issue selling. Both of our jobs are pretty recession proof, so we’re not really at risk of losing our jobs with everything going on. It’s the right time for us.
