possible oral surgery?

so back in january i had a sore throat with white patches on BOTH tonsils, fast forward to now and all i have is my RIGHT tonsil bring swollen with some white spots on it. it doesn’t bother me most of the time but i puked tonight and it’s kind of irritated. could this be tonsillitis?

Getting your tonsils removed helps a lot!!! Had similar issues often but now that I had that surgery I never get sick (or when I do, it barely feels like a sore throat). Highly recommend but only if you really need it because recovery is a bitch

It’s not oral surgery. It’s MAJOR surgery. The first step is getting in with an ENT and having them evaluate your past tonsils and throat health. It took me two years to finally find a doctor willing to remove mine! At 21 exactly a month ago I had them out along with my adenoids. Best decision ever. Though recovery is literally hell. It’s so bad recovering the older you get!
