Why does birth control have to suck so much

Every time I start the pill I get horrible acne and gain weight. I can’t afford to gain any weight. I’m already obese and this is just making it worse. I would honestly love to get a hysterectomy at this point so I don’t have to deal with periods or any of this shit anymore! I can adopt a kid if I end up wanting kids. Sorry for my anger but damn! Sick of it.

It changes your hormones & honestly sucks. That's why I stopped last week and I can honestly say I feel much better. Don't get me wrong I still have bad days, but at least I know there's a reason for the crying😂
I've been thinking about getting the implant once everything gets back to normal. I suggest you look into other contraceptives.

There’s an app called Natural Cycles that is FDA cleared and non-hormonal. It has very high ratings and is 93% effective with typical use and 98% effective with perfect use. I remember watching a YouTuber, itsblitzzz, discuss it. I’ve never tried it but based on the ratings I’m assuming it could be worth giving a shot if you want a hormone free method. From what I understand it uses your cycle and Basal Body Temperature to detect when you should abstain from sex or use protection due to your fertile window and when you’re safe. 💞
