Since this is stay at home moms, I am going to assume you filed taxes with your SO in the last 2 years. If you did and you make under a certain amount together ($175000 i think), then yes. I am a stay at home mom that meets the other criteria and have already gotten my check. If you didn't file taxes you could still qualify. You would need to check the irs.gov site and check as well as update information. There really should have been a maybe option on this. Even though I haven't worked since my son was born, I still file taxes with my husband and would qualify.

It's based on 2018 (filed 2019) and 2019 (filed 2020) taxes. You would have had to file either 2018 or 2019 taxes to receive a check. That's what I have consistently been reading.
