I’m going to have to start supplementing with formula because my son eats enough but he’s not putting on weight. I don’t know what’s wrong with my breast milk. My first son was premature so I pumped for the 12 weeks he was in the nicu and once the supply that I brought home ran out I switched to formula. We tried breastfeeding but he just couldn’t latch and bottle feeding got us out of the nicu faster so it was definitely worth it. I really wanted to breastfeed my second son for at least three months before switching to formula but I don’t know if it’s going to be possible and it’s really upsetting.
