History of preeclampsia???

Question

So I had preeclampsia with my last pregnancy and had to be induced at 38 weeks. 
With this pregnancy, to avoid preeclampsia or lower the chance of it my doctors told me take baby aspirin. 
They didn’t prescribe me any, just said take 81mg everyday starting 2nd trimester.
Do you think it’s fine to take a generic brand like equate baby aspirin?? 
Also with anyone whose had to do this due to preeclampsia did the baby aspirin help keep your BP low??

Generic is just fine 👍 as for it lowering blood pressure.. I’m not sure if it actually does that. I too have been taking baby aspirin since 13 weeks to reduce risk of preeclampsia, however I’m also on blood pressure medicine as well to actually lower it. But maybe aspirin In other cases helps maintain a healthy blood pressure if it’s already at a good place .. idk, sorry I’m not more helpful

With my first and second I was induced at 37 weeks . Now I’m 24 weeks pregnant and was prescribed aspirin to prevent preeclampsia 😖

I was also induced at 38 weeks with my first! This time around they also told me to take 81mg of baby aspirin everyday until birth. I mean I hope it works! Lol.

Yes generic should be fine and I was high risk for preeclampsia due to family history and borderline BP. Kept my BP on the lower end
