Virtual Party Ideas?

Baby girls 1st birthday is 6/4, so almost positive we will have to do a virtual party. Anyone have ideas for virtual parties? Do we need to do games or anything? Definitely want to do a small cake. And obviously keep it a bit short since it’s virtual. I don’t know where to start. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!’

I was going to mail invites with little paper hats or something in them :) just so people felt a little more participatory since were using zoom

I doubt we will do a “party.” I’ll make her a little cake and we will just let her enjoy a tiny piece at home. Maybe will FaceTime family in during, but my husband will be back out to sea and will miss it all. It is what it is lol 🤷🏼‍♀️

My little guy turned 1 on 4/14. We did a zoom “party” for about 15 mins. Said hi to everyone. Opened gifts quick (from us and my parents) and had him do his smash cake. We want to have a BBQ at some point towards the end of summer if it’s safe to do so and celebrate birthdays for all 3 of of my kids at once. My middle daughter turned 4 on 4/13 and my oldest turns 6 on 8/5.

We're planning to do one also.  We're keeping it real short.  We'll let her talk to everyone and let her open the presents from us. Then we'll do a smash cake and that's all. We'll do an actual party when this is over. Hopefully in September but not yet planning that.
