Sleep training/Ferber method for naps?

Please no judgment on this post. I got the ok from her pediatrician to start sleep training-she’s almost 6 months and she can self sooth, she has done it many times on her own, just can’t fall asleep initially without nursing. I’m a FTM and doing what’s best for me, my daughter and our family. I need tips or advice! We’re doing the Ferber method with modified times. My daughter has a strong attachment to nursing to sleep. With being quarantined and seeing mainly me all day (my husband is still working), the habit has gotten worse. When we are finally able to go about our lives, I know she will already be more attached to me, and I’m nervous about leaving her for say, a date night, and not being able to nap because she can’t nurse. At first I was all for it, but now her sleep is being affected as she is needing me more and more. Co sleeping is not a safe option for us as our bed is too small and I am a heavvyyyyy sleeper. So far, the sleeping training is going okay aside from it being super hard on my PPD and PPA. But my daughter is starting to adjust well after night 3. Naps are the real struggle. If anyone has experience with this method and how to do naps, I would greatly appreciate it! She refuses to go down for a nap without nursing. I want to be as consistent as possible so we don’t have to drag on the crying and it works faster. 😫 any tips would be appreciated!
