Swaddle still?

How many of you still swaddle your 4 month? I feel like if I don’t his arms still flail and wake him up :/

I’m still using an arm up swaddle.. she’s 19wks. Hasn’t rolled from back to belly yet. I think her startle reflex is better... but she’s so used to this swaddle she’s obsessed with having her hands covered and rubbing her face at night 🤦🏻‍♀️ but, it is safe for them if they roll over.

Try Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit! It's a great transition because it controls the startle reflex while still allowing them to move. I've used it with both my girls and swear by it.

We do. If not she flails and wiggles until she gets frustrated and overtired. As soon as we swaddle her she relaxes and falls asleep. It’s like her sleep cue. Dreading the transition.... I’ve already tried Love to Dream with the zip arms and bought Merlins suit but she is too small for it yet....

No, but she can roll amd doesn't seem to have the reflex as much. As long as there arent any signs of rolling back to front keep swaddling.

We do. She isn’t the most amazing sleeper so I’m afraid to ruin what we at least have haha. Our son was so easy but she was finally sleeping through the night and then this damn leap threw a huge wrench in things. So we are working on getting back to sleeping again first. She can roll belly to back but can’t roll back to belly yet and since she obviously sleeps on her back I still let her get swaddled. Though I think she’s pretty close to leaning how to roll back to belly so I’m thinking in the next month we will need to take it away.

Around 3 months we started swaddling arms out and then a few weeks later dropped the swaddle all together.  Each phase took her a few nights to adjust. But she’s back to sleeping 7-7 without a swaddle now.  Going arms out of was harder then going no swaddle

I still swaddle. I've tried everything, purchased the Nen One Swaddle and sleep sac and she hates it. I've tried raising arms in a sac but she will not sleep and just moves all night. She has the startle reflex so that doesn't help. As soon as I swaddle her she's perfect and goes to sleep. I don't know what to do. She's not rolling over yet so I have some time but I'm running out of options to try.

I just had to suck it up and deal with it. Did one arm at a time and it took about a week
