Are you guys postponing your LOs party for a later month, or are you just going to have a big 2nd birthday?

The party hall we reserved won't refund us the money we put down, but they will reserve for another date. Thinking about it, a party in june/july would be nice but the city we live in hasn't hit its peak. My cousin are just saying to reserve a date for next year but I feel like that would be a waste of money that we could have used.

Am I making a big deal of this or should I just choose a later date, like in july or August to be safe?

Update: My husband and I decided to reschedule the party for next year and throw a big 2nd birthday. We're also going to have a little cookout for her and other family members once everything is safe. As for her actual birthday were going to do a smash cake and possible a zoom call, but that's all I have for now haha. Thank you to everyone who commented I really appreciate it! Stay safe!! 💕
