Best friend is currently dealing with this issue it’s all been smooth they just keep an extra eye on him and so far he’s growing perfectly he is actually measuring in the 99th percentile estimated at 7 lbs and she still has 7 weeks left.

I was told by my doctor at 20 weeks that marginal cord insertion is actually very common. You’ll likely have a follow up growth ultrasound around 32 weeks to check on growth. My little girl is now measuring 3-4 weeks ahead so it doesn’t always mean smaller babies.
