I’ve been struggling a lot with trying to figure out what state of life I’m in recently and I’ve been having a really hard time. After explaining what I mean, I was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and how you handled it.

So I’m about to turn 25 and half of my friends are married with kids while the other half are busy starting their careers.

I finished college in 2018. I have a great job that I enjoy. My boyfriend of 3 years and I bought a house last year. We have 2 dogs and a huge backyard for them to run around.

We are so fortunate to have a beautiful house at this age but we are in a new town where we don’t know many people and it’s not a super populated city. We could drive and be in a huge city in less than an hour but we are kinda out in the country.

I feel like I went straight from Party college girl to only house chores and a full time job. There is no going out or getting dinner with friends. We moved here for the jobs that paid well but it’s so difficult.

I feel like I have the type of social life where I should be married with kids. But we are still establishing our careers so we weren’t ready for that yet.

Its hard to put into words what I’m feeling. I just feel so stuck in this middle zone of the 2 types of 25 year olds!
