No period in 6 years

Hi, I haven’t had a period since I was 13 because I was on birth control, ( I was on implanon for 4 years and the last two years I was on the shot) and I didn’t get a period that whole time. I got off of the shot (the end of my window was April 1st) and 6 days later I started ovulating. I started my period on the 18th and it’s really heavy, I also have severe cramps, bloating, and sometimes nausea. I remember my periods being bad but this is worse even when I take midol. And it also smells kinda bad. Is the smell normal? And is my period and hormones really bad because I haven’t had one in 6 years?
