Thick white CM and late period... Is it a good sign?

I am currently 3 days late for my period and today I had thick CM (white color), I am afraid it means my period might come. I haven't tested yet bc I don't want to be disappointed. Anyone else experience this and end up being pregnant?

Cervical mucus does not determine pregnancy. It’s completely normal discharge. Take a test.
