Owlet Sock??

With everything going on right now, how do y’all feel about the owlet sock that monitors the baby’s pulse and oxygen saturation?

I will always use the owlet until my kid can’t wear it anymore. It’s given me nights of wonderful sleep and I’ve never had an issue.

Absolutely LOVED it! Was the only thing that let me sleep at night knowing she was okay! We put on the sock and then an actual sock over it to prevent her kicking it off! Never had an issue! I was so scared of SIDS

I had a friend who had it for her daughter and she said it was the most miserable device she's ever owned. The baby would kick it off several times throughout the night sometimes and alert her and of course send her into a false panic. I've read other stories similar to it as well.

Cardiologists and healthcare workers actually advise against it because it goes off falsely and terrifies parents. It’s not a recommended decide. I wanted it for my son, but decided against.

An actual NICU doctor told me that they really dont recommend them because they can cause parents to panic for no reason.
