8 weeks 2 days ectopic

We went in for our very first ultrasound yesterday and on the screen my baby was healthy and the right size with a heart beat of 168, problem baby was not being seen in uterus. I was scheduled a second ultrasound at hospital with better machines and interpreters. I have a heart shaped uterus and my doc was hopeful it was up in one of the pockets. That apt I had to do alone. because of covid he was not allowed in the building. They told my my baby was 100% not in uterus and that it appeared in abdomen. We just won the horrible lottery that only 1 in 10,000 face. My heart was crushed. My strong heartbeat baby was going to have to be removed from me. I was prepped for surgery right away, I also had to be alone my husband wasn't allowed in hospital. It turns out baby was in my fallopian tube, I had some internal bleeding and was just lucky the tube hadn't bursted yet. Just like that my baby is gone. They removed my whole fallopian tube. I searched all day yesterday thinking it couldn't be ectopic because all my levels had been normal and I had no bleeding. Unfortunately it was false hope that just got me through that moment in time.
