Do you feel your child’s father is OBLIGATED to get you a gift for Mother’s Day?

You guys are not together... he has a girlfriend and the child’s mother doesn’t . My friend told me if her baby’s father doesn’t get her a gift all hell is going to break loose. I told her he doesn’t have to get her one... she got super pissed. She’s beat asf. Shes mad because he sees other females. She said idc if he has a girlfriend he needs to be with me that day

If he wants to, that’s another matter but NO he is absolutely not obligated to. If he doesn’t she should grow up, if he does, she needs to be grateful, not entitled! 
I don’t expect my husband to get me anything for Mother’s Day (especially as our son isn’t born yet... even after I still wouldn’t) but he’s always gotten me a card and flowers from our guinea pigs 🤣 🤷🏼‍♀️ and this year (in the UK it was 22 March), also from our unborn baby.

My fiancé has 2 children’s from a previous relationship and every Mother’s Day WE take the children to get her a gift I feel it is something we should do as a family for their mother and no me and the mother are not best friends we are civil but it the right thing to do my children don’t have money to buy her a gift so why make them go without last year she even helped the kids pick out me a gift

I don’t think obligated, but if you have a child that is young and needs help picking out a gift, the dad should help the child. Same with Father’s Day IMO.
