I don’t shave “down there” but I just wanted to do a little and now I have this rash/reaction. It’s kinda uncomfortable. What can I put on it? And tips for shaving?

That’s razor burn. You should shave with a brand new razor down there every time. Shave with the grain of hair not against, so typically downwards. I like to use shaving cream but I heard Johnson baby shower gel is nice to use because it’s moisturizing. You should always put on a thick moisturizing lotion afterwards as well. I also use rubbing alcohol before the lotion to prevent razor burn and ingrown hairs because it cleans off the bacteria (a tip from strippers).

Use a razor that you don’t use for any other part of your body. Also try putting some aloe Vera gel on afterwards (it soothes razor burn). Make sure you also use something like body wash or shaving cream (or coconut oil if you want to be all natural!) while shaving.

I use a ton of hair conditioner when I shave bc I get razor burn really easy and it works for me

Use an antibiotic ointment or use an antibiotic mixed in with some aquaphor, this will help with skin irritation and reduce the risk of ingrown hairs and infection.
