If you had an epidural do you regret getting it?

at first I really didn’t want it, I got it and my labors were enjoyable. Laughing, talking and then popped out a baby. Once they took it out, I had no lasting effects. I’ll have it for this 3rd baby as well. The iv hurt worse than the epidural.

Everyone reacts differently to it. I’ll never have another epidural. They had to stick me several times because it wouldn’t take, and then it only worked on one side so I ended up having two epidurals. My daughter is 4, and I still have back pain because of the epidural. 
I’m so against it for myself that I have hired a doula for this pregnancy so that I will have alternative pain relief methods.

I have 2 kids. I had an epidural with both of them. I had a medium amount of back pain pstpartum but labour was sooo much more enjoyable after the epidural versus before. If I have another baby I will most definitely get it again. Sooo worth it! 💯

I had the epidural for both labors.
I don’t regret it.
With my second labor I was having such intense painful contractions, then after the epidural I felt like I was on cloud 9. I could breathe and relax for a moment.
I plan on getting it again (if I’m able) this time around.

I labored naturally till 9.5cm and the epidural was the best thing that I could have ever had😂 before I got it I couldn’t talk only make noises and growl 😂 as soon as I got the epidural I could relax and have full conversation.

I had an epidural and it almost killed me because it was placed on the spinal place and I couldn’t breathe so I panicked I felt better when they took it off and I went to labor with no pain medication it was a traumatic experience for me  not the labor pain but the effects of the epidural itself . I always had my children with no pain medication so I thought I’ll give the epidural a try and I regret it. I am currently pregnant again and I plan to go natural fingers crossed 🤞.
