Should I get an owlet? Is it necessary??

$400 for an owlet?? 😫 I’m 50/50 on the decision as I feel it may not be necessary but then again it has the potential to save my baby’s life.  Any comments are appreciated!

I read the reviews and they all said if anything to just get the sock which is $299.  Personally I got one but I know that my son has cystic fibrosis and I have tachycardia from a genetic condition so monitoring his lung function and heart rate is important to me.  I’ve heard mixed reviews of false alarms so don’t rush to the er for one warning and also switch the feet you put it on cuz if used in the same foot some have said it’s burned their baby.  For me it’s peace of mind but I also have a legit medical reason for using it.

I got just the sock after reading bad reviews about the monitor. You should check stores around Mother’s Day. My best friend bought hers last year around that time and the sock was on sale around $50-100 off at buy buy baby. I bought mine on Black Friday at target for the same sale price.

I was just having the same debate with my husband while looking for monitors. We can’t decide if it’s worth the money and most of the reviews weren’t great 😕
