Baby NICU 35 weeks?

I have a friend in the hospital right now in active labor they cannot stop. She’s very worried about her little one. What are the chances of complications and how long do you think the NICU stay will be?

She may not need nicu at all, it many be a week or two. Depends on birth weight, lung development and feeding ability.

Not to bad at 35 weeks that’s almost full term. Babies have been born at 24 weeks and make it so I wouldn’t be super worried. Might spend a week or 2 in nicu but nothing crazy

It’s hard to tell. There’s a saying that boys are wimpier than girls and have a harder time transitioning. And black babies transition better than white. That’s coming from the Nicu where  three of mine were. ￼ my neighbor and I were just talking about her twins stay that were born at 25 weeks. At a different hospital in a different state . And they told her the same exact thing￼. I would’ve never thought that was a thing but it is apparently￼
