Sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim

Has anyone here ever taken Sulfamethoxazole/ trimethoprim for a UTI. If so, how long did it take for your UTI to clear (or feel cleared)? I’m on day 7, going on 8. I’m a little worried that it’s not working. I’m feeling better than I did before, but most people say their UTI treatment works within 2-4 days. I’m thinking maybe by day 10(my last day) it may do it’s job? The UTI doesn’t feel terrible but it just feels as if it’s lingering on a little.

I know this is a lot to read but I also checked the reviews online recently and the reviews for UTI use aren’t very appealing. I came to eve to give me hope. LOL.
