Braxton Hicks Question
Hey ladies,
So with my first, I never had any Braxton Hicks contractions so I have no clue what they feel like.
As a back story, my water started leaking with my son at 35 weeks and then I had to be induced because labour never started so I only know induction contractions! lol
I’m 28 weeks, and have a shortening cervix and tonight, while we were out for our walk, I noticed I was getting this tightening feeling that started in my back and moved to the front of my stomach. I was describing it as almost like a back ache that moved around my sides to my stomach. It was like middle of the back area.
I thought for sure it must be Braxton Hicks... but when I google it, everything I read says that Braxton Hicks aren’t felt in the back 🤔 I have to be on the lookout for preterm labour signs, so not sure what to think of it.
We were walking for about 50mins, and I’d say it happened about 5 times during our walk. Hasn’t happened since we got home and I’ve been sitting.
Anyone know if these COULD or likely ARE Braxton Hicks? Or should I really monitor it and call the midwife if it continues to happen at all?
