Thyroid Cancer?

Question

I was referred to surgical oncology today as my goiter in left thyroid continues to grow despite steroids for two weeks and I now have swollen lymph nodes and more pressure/pain swallowing and talking. I lost my mom two years ago to colon cancer and I have lupus already. Just looking for others who have/had thyroid cancer and positive energy. I’m 26 and awaiting my first appointment for biopsy and testing.

I had thyroid cancer and they removed my thyroid six years ago. If caught early it is totally curable. I just had to take a radiation pill to kill the thyroid tissue they couldn’t remove after surgery. I just take a synthyroid pill daily to do the things a thyroid should do.  Good luck. I have noticed a Goiter on my neck , I’m not sure if it was there a while before I noticed . I’ve been looking through old photos and think it could have been there longer than I thought. I have only given birth a month ago . They tested my thyroid hormones and they have been ok .
During my pregnancy I was getting horrible pains in my left side , I’m worried now that this was pancreas pain and I’m worried about cancer .

I had a nodule and before any biopsy’s were done, ENT told me IF it was cancer, it was the “best” cancer to have because it it VERY curable. He said they just take our your thyroid, and usually that’s it. No chemo is needed or anything. He also said he would rather have that, than diabetes. I pray everything is ok for you. My uncle has thyroid cancer but it spread to the lungs and pancreas. He has been struggling with it for over 8 years now but he recently started juice cleanses every morning. My boyfriend who has also had cancer (5 years remission now) does juicing too. It helps both of them boost their immune systems so the treatment can work better. Eating non processed foods and 2 mile walks every morning and night has been helping my uncle a lot lately. He also takes a pill that is in test trial because nothing else has worked for him. But he seems to be doing very well at the moment. I personally haven’t fought cancer but i try to help people with the knowledge my loved ones teach me.

I am 26 currently pregnant and have had thyroid nodules for years but they have never been worrisome. I am not 16 weeks pregnant and the doctor decided to do a ultrasound to re-evaluate they, they have told me the one on the left side has grown a lot and are now asking me to have a biopsy and are already talking about cancer... I’m very worried
