Repeat C Section mamas

So this will be my second birth and first repeat c section.

Loved my last experience so not worried about that.

Just got out of my 16 week appointment so of course there’s like a. Whole slew of questions you think of after the dr is gone.

I wanted to be scheduled for the 6th but I’ll be 38 weeks 5 days and you have to be 39 weeks exactly. Whatever. Stinks but it’s fine. Completely understand that rule.

Buuuuut. My dr has 3 offices. I’m not sure she’s in the hospital the day I’m 39 weeks.

What if I go into labor before? What happens when I go into the hospitals l&d?

What if she’s not the dr on call to preform my surgery.

I love how she closed my incision and I really feel that truly had a lot to do with my recovery as opposed to other mamas who delivered by c section around the same date.

That’s my biggest concern. Which is mild I guess.

Will my c section be worse if I’m in active labor first? How does that work? Is it quick or do they take their time? Will they call my dr or just let who ever is there do it?
