I found out in one of my “hatching” groups on Facebook that I can try to store eggs longer than 7 days and hatch them. I’m waiting on the incubator to arrive in the mail so that’s why I have to wait to incubate them. But I’ve started collecting eggs, and they’re fertile eggs

No they don’t actually have “fetuses” in them lmfao. Once they are laid, they go dormant until they’re warmed up. They’re stuck in that spot where “sperm meets egg” until they’re warmed up and start developing. So they’re sleeping in my fridge.

I just needed him to understand they aren’t edible, and are hatching eggs and will eventually be baby chickens.

And I’d be mortified if I woke up tomorrow to scrambled eggs. Definitely gonna make him not wanna eat them if I say they’re full of fetuses
