Do you watch your family’s kids during this pandemic ?

Family member is asking me to watch her baby, would it be safe too?

It depends on the situation, where you’re at, what you and your family do for work, etc. there’s no black and white answer. 
Where I’m located our cases are down, the city I’m in has very few active cases (if any, I haven’t checked in a few days), and were starting the first phase of reopening our state. If my sister or SIL needed help babysitting while they work or if they needed to go the hospital or take their other kids, I would personally help her. Hell, I would even help if they just needed a break because their kids are driving them mad and they need a few hours to just drive alone and calm down (because yes, that can happen to a parent after spending 30+ days shut up in their home with no end in sight.)
People still need help with child care. Just because of a virus doesn’t mean our life’s come to a complete halt... if you’re able to help, are healthy, and can sanitize your home well, I say yes it should be fine. But you’re the one who has to make the decision, no one online can tell you one way or the other what you should do. Follow your gut.

No, my family is full of essential high risk workers. We have all decided not to unless an emergency situation like one family is expecting. It is just not safe enough here and what everyone does for work. We have to protect our families but also where they work too and those families.

My neices are watching my daughter.. both me and my husband currently are working and we have no one else.. and they can use the money so; they watch her while we work.

Yes, I’ve been watching both of my sisters kids (they each have 3 kids). I don’t see any harm in helping them out because they are working. Both my sisters and their husbands are working from home so it’s really low interaction with people because one of my brother in laws is a farmer, so he’s been around lots of other farmers selling seed and sprays. 
It’s up to each family and you. Make the decision that’s right for you.
