Succulent question

Any succulent enthusiasts out there?

I tried googling my question but all the answers are about potted succulents...

I have a large planter in my front yard that I planted about a dozen starts. The starts are doing great and getting bigger but my goal was to get them to take over the entire bed.

I only put potting soil in where I had planted the starts, the rest is just regular dirt.

Will they spread on their own? Or is there something else I should do? It’s only been about a month so I’m sure I just need to be patient.
