Having 2nd kid during Covid
Hey guys,
So I just had my 16 week appointment! So blessed to be pregnant again.
The tone overall changed at this appointment. At every appointment previously they felt like this was not going to be a problem by the time I gave birth. This appointment- My doc is pretty sure there is going to be a 2nd wave by the time I give birth since we live in a densely populated area.
My family lives across the country and I don’t want to expose my parents after we go to the hospital for the birth. Meeting my new child is an entirely different subject.
My question is - what are people doing with their first child while they and their partner are at the hospital for birth? My little one is way to small to be at home alone. I have literally zero family where I live.
In the era of covid I feel like coming up with a contingency plan is a healthy and responsible thing to do so when the time comes it’s not a panic attack.
