Babies first hair cut

I want to cut my sons hair for his 1st birthday, it’s getting too long that it’s getting in his ears and bothering him. I wish I could go to a salon and get it done properly but we won’t be able to.

So we decided my husband is going to do it, 😬 when he was in the military he would cut the guys hair sometimes lmao so I’m putting a lot of faith and trust in him 😂

My question is how did your sons do? What style did you go for? Any specific tools I need to get? Any tips for cutting baby hair?
