Did you or will you share the gender with your family?

I'm pregnant for the first time. Im going to be a single parent. My mom is excited  for the baby and now relatives who I don't even talk to regularly are calling her asking am I on bedrest, etc.,.🙄🙄
Im annoyed and I feel like I just want a part of this for myself to privately enjoy. I don't care for another announcement being made without any of it directly coming from my lips. She's  mad, but she's  gonna have to get over it.💁🏾‍♀️💁🏾‍♀️

Yes, we did share with immediate family as soon as we knew; however, both my mom and my MIL are very respectful and don't overstep or overshare. If either of them had a tendency towards that, they wouldn't have known until I was ready for everyone to know.

Congrats! Have you asked your mom to keep things quieter? If you know your mom is an oversharer, I would say to wait until you're ready for everyone to know before you update her. It's your baby and your time, so do things on your terms! 
I work with a chronic oversharer, so only family and close friends will know about our pregnancy & gender when we find out until we're ready for the world to know.

I dont wanna know the gender until they come out of me. It's a fun surprise. And everything that people give me won't be extremely gender stereotyped

My husband and I were going to wait and do a gender reveal party, but this is our first child and just can’t wait to tell everyone right when we find out. Its taken us 3 years to have our miracle baby.
