It’s finally happening 40 weeks 6 days!!

For a long time I was 1cm dilated you guys and today I woke up from a nap and noticed that I was having weird cramping like mensural cramps and a lot of clear discharge coming out of me so I decided to go to labor and delivery because I noticed they were getting quite intense like they wouldn’t stop and they were Really close together I thought I was going into labor and this was around 3pm. So after I came to the realization that these were possibly real contractions we headed to L&B and let me tell you I was in quite some pain my hospital is a good 25 minutes out and the roads were terrible so bumpy it just made everything worse but that’s besides the point lol. I went to the hospital I was there for about an hour to 2 hours and everytime they checked me I was only 1cm dilated and not progressing they checked me 6 times and were confused as to contractions were so intense but wasn’t doing anything so they discharged me around 6pm after giving me morphine to help with the pain but it didn’t do a damn thing lol. They told Me to wait about 6 hours and to come by it I was still having the passing and I left doing so and the pain just never left so I called around 11pm because I couldn’t take it anymore no position was saving me or helping me at all so I had to say something. I called them and let them know like “HEY, it’s not progressing can we figure out why?” And she said of course yeah no problem come right on in when you can, so I did after finding a sitter for my stepson and then I proceeded to go get ready again. I kept going to the bathroom through these times too because I could not hold it I just had to constantly pee but the last time after the phone call I noticed I had just lost my mucus plug and from then on the contractions really started kicking in. So we made it to the hospital I can barely walk I’m sweating my ass off trying to breathe, I look crazy because I was just there lol 😂 twice before cuz they wanted me to take tests for Covid 19 to rule me out and I tested negative for all tests obviously, but I left in pain the second time and came back in later lol I’m just happy this time I didn’t get discharged lol. But I went to L&D laid there in pain as they monitored me and my baby and kept checking my cervix and I had no progress I was 1cm and she wasn’t moving, 5-6 hours later going back I found out I was 8-9cm dilated!!!! I was shocked 😳 I had been stuck at 1 for so long and I aaa literally supposed to be induced on the 6th but now I’m giving birth this morning on the 5th. I’m so excited I can’t wait but I did just find out I have preeclampsia but it’s all okay because I’m going into labor right now and it couldn’t of been something that was going on for a long time it just because a thing so I’m grateful for that I’m just praying everything goes well and smooth it’s 5:26am now May 5th and I’m hoping to give birth within the next hour or two.
