So I’m starting to date this guy, I’m 15 turning 16, hes 17, is it normal for us to be having sex at this age? Does anyone have any tips?

I think it is very common for teenagers to have sex. My only advice as a teenager would be to wait, if y’all have been together for longer it’s much better. Not only will having a connection make it better but you never want to have sex to early with someone, I made that mistake, I regret it. I don’t think there is anything wrong with having sex but I do think that you should be smart about it, condoms and birth control (if you are on it). Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do with your body though!!

It’s normal but don’t have sex until YOU are ready. 
Use protection!!! No matter what. There’s a lot to choose from, condoms, pills, IUD, just make sure you’re protected. 
If anything hurts, stop and find a more comfortable position. Lube is your best friend when you’re first starting out. 
Don’t be afraid to say no. 
If he pressures you, leave him.

As long as you guys are being safe I see nothing wrong with having sex as a teenager just get on birth control and use condoms to help prevent any "accidents". Sex is a very healthy and important part of any relationship. As long as you guys feel ready and dont feel pressured then go for it, just be safe and be prepared 😊

Only have it when you're ready! If you feel safe, comfortable, and educated then go for it - but if you're not, then don't feel any pressure too. If he ever pressures you into having sex, then he's not the one.
