I’m Stumped 🤷🏻‍♀️

A guy I met online messaged me 2 days ago. He asked where I’m from and I replied. He then said “I’ve been there once before”. I responded by saying “You’ll need to come here again sometime ;)”. (This was a joke by the way, I didn’t expect the guy to visit me after a short period of time talking 😂).

Fast forward to last night.. I’m just gonna say, as a disclaimer, that he does keep bringing up the thought of visiting me. So, he says “Do you not think it’s a bit too soon?” And I said “What do you mean?” He replied “Well, we don’t really know each other and I could be a creep for all you know”. So basically, I just explain that I was joking about the whole visiting thing. A few minutes later he said “Oh well, I’m still interested”. I responded with “What?” And he said “Well, you’re very good looking and seem nice :)”. So at this point I’m confused because he also said it’s ‘too early to say he likes me’ which I get because we haven’t been talking long. So he says that he wants to get to know me and asks “So, get to know each other more? 🤗”. So he asks me like, 3 questions and then he goes off topic. I feel confused when I’m speaking to him.. Sometimes I just get an ‘off’ impression if that makes sense? I just feel like he’s assuming things. It’s kinda like he can makes these little jokes but then when I do it back he gets all serious about it. I don’t know what to do..
