When to call your doctor to confirm?

I’m about 11dpo and have had positive tests the last two days. The first one was pretty faint, this morning’s is definitely darker but still light. Should I call my doctor now to set up my first appointment or wait until my period is late? It’s due Monday.

Also do they usually have you come in to confirm with a blood test right away?

I had a chemical last year but it happened so quickly I hadn’t even called them yet.
