Should He Spend Mother's Day With Me?

My husband and I got into a fight. See I'm the mother is angels. I've had three miscarriages. I was hoping my husband would take me out for mother's day, but he said "We Don't have kids yet. I was going to spend it with my mom". I'm honestly very mad at him. Should he be spending mother's day with me or his mom?

I understand your pain and frustration but technically he’s right. He should be able to spend Mother’s Day with his mother. I personally don’t celebrate Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or Valentine’s Day because it’s just another day and doesn’t mean anything. It is what it is but he’s not required to spend Mother’s Day with you and he can spend it with his mother if he wants to. That’s his mother.

I mean technically he’s right. Your not a mother. I get both sides but I think it would be selfish of you not to let him spend time with his mother for
Mother’s Day.

I get his line of thought. I’ve had a miscarriage myself and my husband and I have never done anything for me for Mother’s Day. We celebrate that with our respective mothers normally. 
If it bothers you, discuss it together and come up with a solution together.

I would personally dont celebrate but this is just me. Y’all to him and tell him for you it is a bittersweet time. But he should also be able to spend time with his mom

Well i cant say if he should or shouldn't..cause i dont know how he sees things.....however... My husband and i always spent Mother's Day together before we even gotten pregnant...(we had 2 miscarriages)..he always said..i been a great mother to his twins...
But i do feel he can split his day and at least buy you a thinking of you during this time gift.

Some people don't like to think about the miscarriages and prefer not to celebrate mothers day just yet
Others like to.
Have you told him you would like to even though you guys have angel babies?
