My husband takes his mom to our date ideas

Okay let me start by saying I’m half awake, just got off 12hour night shift at the hospital(not a nurse) so I may be acting a little crazy. 😬

Right before this COVID19 stuff two restaurants opened up near our house.... tell me if I’m being petty! Anyways, my husband and I had been talking about going to them for a date night. We discussed it and looked at their menus online.

About a week before the outbreak, I had to work a night shift at the hospital. While I was working my husband took his mom and our kids to sit down and eat at one of the restaurants. I was upset and told him that was supposed to be the place we went for a date night together. He said “we can still go sometime, my mom said she will watch the kids for us”... but to me it’s not the same because he already ate there now. Anyways I moved on, no biggie.

So we have also talked about the other new restaurant and my husband said maybe after the pandemic is over we go there sometime and have his mom watch the kids.

Tell me why I just worked night shift again last night and this MF took his mom to the restaurant!! I got home this morning and asked him why he did that? That was supposed to be for us to go do. He said “we just got their special and got it to go”.

BUT I’m still hurt! I’m annoyed and mad, idk if I’m jealous or what... I decided not to say anything else because I know I’m exhausted and not thinking straight.

And yes, he IS a huge mommas boy.

Opinions? I’m crazy and just need to sleep it off?
