My boyfriend and I are about to go long distance, because he got a residency in another state (he’s a doctor). I’m still in college too. So he’ll be about 5/6 hours away.

Anyone here have any tips on how I can handle this? I think we’ll be fine but I know there will be times where it will be difficult for me—for both of us. I plan on visiting him as much as I can on weekends, and because the hours are flexible at the hospital he’s going to, he’ll be able to visit too. I’m really hoping for the best here and I need some encouragement.
