People are quick to give men a pass because they “just don’t remember dates like women do” but that’s 100% cultural because women are expected to care and men get away with it. If a man knows a date is important to his wife and he’s bad at remembering, like literally all he has to do is put a reminder in his phone 🙄
That being said, I’ve never had this issue because my husband is a grown up who cares about me and my feelings 🤷🏻‍♀️

No, but I'd probably laugh at how quickly he forgot considering it's just 2 days after his haha

Yes. Remembering my birthday is bare minimum.  Does he remember your name?

No. We're really not big on "events" like birthdays and such. Half the time he confuses my birthday with our daughter's. Her birthday is four days before mine. I just don't care. My birthday is not a big deal to me.

This year he forgot. Never had in the past, and is usually really good about birthdays but being on almost total lockdown here and having to work really weird hours it simply slipped his mind. He remembered about mid morning and called from work. In this case, I didn't really think it was that big a deal because I know how he usually is and he obviously loves and cares for me throughout the year.
In general though it would probably bother me more.

Ok super honesty time, I have forgotten my husband’s birthday before. So no I wouldn’t be mad at all! In my defense our birthdays are right after Christmas and three of our family members’ birthdays and then ours are right next to each other too. So there’s a lot going on at that time of year haha

I give him a reminder that my birthday is approaching. He's really bad at remembering names and dates 🤷‍♀️He couldn't even remember the name of one of his aunts the other day and confused the names of two of them.

He remembers that it's a few weeks after his so that's a pretty good reminder for him to start shopping for presents. Lol
If it wasn't for that I think he would forget.
