How does your baby sleep at night?

My little guy is 10 weeks old and at night we swaddle him but he still has a very sensitive startle reflex. Unless he is sleeping on me or dad he will NOT stay asleep. How do you put your LO to bed at night ? Looking for any suggestions. Oh! And I’ve even tried white noise

Ugh I’m going through the same thing. 3 months old and she refuses to sleep day or night unless she’s being held. I’m envious of all these parents that can put their babies down to sleep. As soon as I put my daughter down she’s awake within 30-60 seconds, I’ve tried swaddling, sleep sacks, swaddle sacks, snuggle me organic, white noise, etc.. I would be grateful even if she slept by herself for 2 hours because at least that’s something. I’m so over it. 😩

We have co slept from 4weeks to present (14 weeks). He will wake up the second I put him down in his next to me crib, so for sanity sake we have him with us which is actually helpful for breast feeding in night if he wakes! Just of a day he only sleeps if on one of us, thank god my partner is working from home or I would have cracked. I've been tempted to try one of those sleep pod bed things but don't want to invest in case he doesn't bother! Plus, having had a cot death in the family I worry about every little thing!! I sometimes think persevere and he will get used to going down but mum guilt hits me and I just want him well rested.... Mum life eh!

Mine (12w) has a pretty strong startle reflex still as well- she sleeps in a Halo swaddle with her arms out. We’ve never been successful swaddling her with arms in.
I have a bedtime routine with her and it seems to be working (for now). She gets a bottle, then I read her a 5 min story and keep her upright. Then it’s a diaper change and into the Halo sleeper. Lights out, I rock her to sleep and then carefully put her in her crib. Bottom goes down first- then her head. Sometimes she wakes up and others she stays asleep. If she does wake up- she tends to put herself back to sleep.
If she wakes up, and clearly isn’t going back to sleep, I’ll pick her back up and rock her back to sleep and repeat.

My guy sleeps in his room , in his crib. With a sleep sack. Takes all his naps in his room and sleeps through the night 🙌🏽 
My first son was the same way. They are only ten months apart. 
The things I find the best, own crib, sleep sack, sound machine and dark room! 👍🏽

This was a nap, and I don’t usually keep bows one here when she sleeps. I probably moved the bow after I snapped the picture.

This is my 12 week old daughter passed out on her boppy lounger in her love to dream swaddle with removable wings. 
We sometimes start in her lounger or on me and then I’ll carry her into our room where she will either sleep in her bassinet or in the rock and play. I know rock and plays have been recalled but her startle reflex is truly limited when she sleeps in the rock and play next to my bed. She slept for almost 11 hours last night!
Oh and I have removed both of the wings of her love to dream swaddles because she has to have access to her hands at night because she is constantly sucking on them. If I keep the wings on with her arms up she cries and cries and won’t settle. 
This set up works for us so we are happy.
