Anyone elses baby able to get into a sitting position?

Not sure if it's intentional or not but I've found my little guy sitting twice today in his playpen all by himself 😱

Kiddo can sit if we put her there but cant push up to sit yet, shes close though

I think mine is trying (but not there yet) she’s started leaning on one arm on the floor turned on her side and keeps flipping her leg over (if that makes sense?) like I can see what she’s trying to achieve but she doesn’t have the arm strength yet to actually push herself up x

If my son is sitting on our leg with his knees bent and touching the floor/couch he can sit pretty well. But we haven’t mastered the sitting with our legs straight out on a mat yet

My daughter gets up in a little squat (kind of like a frog but her feet are closer together) and then just kind of drops onto her butt. Seems like a lot of extra effort but she figured out how to do it on her own so it’s all good.
