Did Ondansetron/Zofran work to relieve your morning sickness?

Has anyone tried this medication?

I’m 12 weeks 4 days, I’ve taken it twice and both times it has worsened my nausea and dizziness, especially when I wake up… this medication is definitely not for me!

Zofran has been linked to birth defects when used in the first trimester, I would not recommend.

For me, it didn’t work just by itself. I’d say when I was 4-10weeks it’s was okay, but soon after it didn’t help anymore. I was only on the 4mg. So they upped my dose to 8mg. Didn’t help, ended up going to the er. Got that led plus injected with promethazine 12.5mg. Worked for I’d say maybe a week before it got bad again. So then I got the promethazine upped to 25mg dose 2x daily PLUS the 8mg ondansetron anytime before I eat in order to keep anything down. And tbh now at 32 weeks even that doesn’t work some days and I’ll still puke 😩😭

Zofran worked very great for me. Morning sickness was horrible with my twins. I was in and out of the hospital everyday because my body couldn’t keep down anything. I had to constantly use their IV fluid... I began shaking because my body was overwhelmed with the vomiting. Zofran helped a ton!

Was amazing for me, took from 9w to 13 weeks.

Yes. I was so sick the first trimester it was the only thing that helped

It was the only thing that helped me to function from 7 weeks until around 11 weeks. Yes, it makes you constipated, but honestly all medicines have side effects. I took milk of magnesia every couple days to stay regular. 
My doctor also offered me Phenagin, but that will make you sleepy. So I went with zofran.

No and gave me horrid, painful constipation and mind piercing migraines to where I was just in bed all day.

Didn’t help me at all and just made me constipated 💩 I got switched to Promethazine and that has helped me a TON!
