Let’s talk SUVS

Question

I currently have a Mitsubishi Mirage which isss smalllll.. I have a three year old and currently pregnant due July 11... can anyone recommend an SUV That’s roomy but not huge. Big ass cars scare me :)

I recommend the Honda CR-V! It is an awesome and easy to drive car, gets great milage for an SUV and is very reliable.

Sorry for the random link, but this app isn’t good at linking cars. I have the Nissan Rouge which is great for 2 kids. Super roomy, and doesn’t feel big to drive. I can fit my double stroller in the back and have room for a large Costco shopping trip. The only time I had an issue was during Christmas time, I had to open a box of diapers and put them on the floor board of the back seat, but the truck was packed with bikes, water, ect. They have nice cargo dividers so I’m able to raise it up and half a shelf and tuck my stroller on to the bottom, so if I need to go to a lot of places it’s not blocked. It also has a great 360 camera feature you can get so no more guessing on how close you are to the curb, a wall or when backing up. Seriously, I won’t buy a car without this camera system.

I'm due with my third baby July 2nd. I bought a 2017 Toyota Highlander in February. I have been super happy with it so far. It's my first "mom car". Before I was in a 2000 mustang, then a 2004 f250 supercrew with a 9 inch lift kit. That was a nightmare getting my toddlers in then hauling my pregnant ass in.

Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee.  Jeep products are my favorite. And they are decent size for kids but not too big

I love my rav 4. Anything that size really only has 4 functional seats though, so keep that in mind if you ever need to drive more people. As a larger option, I rented a VW atlas for a few months. It has a third row, but doesn’t feel huge to drive. It will probably be my first test drive when I look at new cars.
