How often are you feeling baby kicks?

Hi! I'm 24w2d and my baby kicks me sporadically. Some times lower, some times above my belly button. In the mornings and definitely before bed. These last two days, however, he hasn't be kicking me as much. Anyone else feeling this way? I go see my doctor today for our monthly check in. Just wondering from other mamas too.

Could depend on the placement of your placenta. Mine is anterior so doctor told me it might cushion some of the kicks and movements. She also said counting kicks isn't something she recommends until later in the third trimester, because it can cause false alarm

I am 24 weeks and have the same concern. Most days I feel her move a lot and it’s just fine. Today, she’s barely moving and the usual stuff isn’t causing hard kicks like it usually does. I think I just felt a kick or two but I’m so worked up I can’t be sure. Just had my 24 week check up yesterday and heartbeat was nice and strong.

It definitely increased in intensity and amount of kicks around 25,26 weeks. It was a visible change. But if you are nervous about lack of kicks, call your OB. Ask for an ultrasound and advice.

I have a posterior placenta and boy oh boy I feel like she never sleeps. I think its just the position of your placenta.
