Ovulation Test Help pleeeease

So I posted this first in the ovulation group but no one responded. My cycle has only started to become regular and its been typically between 32-34 days. Before my first baby it was always the standard 28 days. I'm in day 14 of my cycle and took this test today. I'm pretty sure it's negative but my question is....does the line get darker as you get closer to ovulating? So like this test means I'm kind of close? Or is that not how it works. I didn't really use these with my pregnancy before so I'm not sure.
