38 + 4 update

Hi Ladies, my water broke last night at around 3:30am. They’re going to put me on pitocin now & send me to the birthing suite. Baby is coming!!!

Update #1: Currently 1:25pm. I came in at about 4:30am, they haven’t started me on pitocin. They checked me at about 6:00am and was totally closed. They gave me Cervidil at 8:00am to help soften my cervix. When they put the Cervidil they checked me & I was about 1 1/2 - 2cm dilated. Nurse said reaching 5 is the longest process, hopefully it will happen soon. Contractions aren’t close together & they are still really tolerable.

[The only reason I’m being kept is because I was GBS positive, since my water broke I’m getting antibiotics. I’ve had 2 doses of penicillin. If I wasn’t positive they would of sent me home & would’ve told me to wait 12hrs.]
