Will you keep the gender of your baby a secret?

Hi guys! I’m so torn about what to do! My husband and I really want to find out the gender of our baby so we can buy things and decorate etc but we want to try and keep it a secret from everyone else until baby is born! Is this even possible? 😂 is worried we’re going to let it slip. Has anyone successfully kept it to themselves?!?

You can keep it a secret but not at the same tome. If you know it’s a girl, tell everyone your waiting to find out but your gut instinct says girl lol then you can call baby a she and no one will think anything about it.

Have you considered naming Baby something temporary until birth?
We call our baby Poppy. We don't know the gender yet, just early sizing from different apps kinda made the name stick (Poppy Seed!)

We are sharing if people ask, not doing a gender reveal. We are keeping the name secret, mostly to avoid drama.

My sis found out gender in March, her plan was to do the reveal in May at her baby shower (which was postponed). In the 2 months that she knew, she only slipped telling someone once. My mom and I knew as we were helping plan shower but she skipped and told one friend. Otherwise she kept the secret. Idk if she could have kept it a secret the whole pregnancy tho!
Hubby and i are team green so we won’t know til baby comes

I wanted to wait to find out at birth but I needed to know how many bedrooms we needed in our house. I have a 6 year old boy and in my state it’s illegal for boys and girls to share rooms after the age of 5. So we found out and so far have managed to keep it between my partner and I.
