I never had the chance to meet her. She passed away five years before I met my husband, but he says we would have gotten along. I wish I could have known her.

My mother in law is an alcoholic who is manic depressive bipolar. We are totally fine when she is having good days. I understand her meds need adjusted here and there and we can tell very quickly when she’s either off them or they need changed. I avoid her in those cases.

My mother in law drives me crazy! We don’t argue or fight. My face and attitude are very telling so when she starts doing stuff I don’t like she can tell. She ignores it tho and keeps doing whatever she wants so I thought she didn’t notice. My husband told me she doesn’t feel welcome at our house so I guess she noticed which makes it worse for me because why keep doing stuff you can clearly see irritates me. She just does little stuff that gets on my nerves. Too many to type up but it mostly centers around my son. She also just has a bad attitude.

Ehh I get along with her do the most part but ever since I got pregnant I can’t stand her. She’s an attention seeker. Every time we go over there’s always something wrong with her or if she’s with us and I want something she has to have it too😒 Last year when I got pregnant she called everyone she possibly could and told them, that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. I’m almost 7 weeks pregnant and she over heard my husband telling my father in law that I’m pregnant. My husband waiting a few days to actually tell her himself and she was upset that he didn’t tell her sooner. My husband told her it’s bc he knows how she is, that it’s not her business to be telling anyone I’m pregnant. That if we want them to know we will tell them ourselves. I didn’t want her knowing at all but eventually she was going to find out now let’s see if she can keep the secret at least until I can get passed my first trimester.

Rocky.   She took my daughter outside to smoke with her when she was twelve weeks old and then was mad at me when my husband told her she couldn't watch our daughter anymore.   Didn't speak to me for six months and only say her granddaughter once during that time, in effect punishing herself.   But she's been trying to redeem herself.   I forgive, but I won't forget.
