Why is everyone cheating?

I see soooo many posts in here about people cheating on their husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend... or people posting about being the person someone is cheating with.. why does everyone think this is okay? How in your brain do you rationalize cheating on someone you claim to love? It makes me FURIOUS that people think it’s okay to do this to people. I hope everyone who’s cheating or involved with someone who’s cheating gets what they deserve because it’s freaking awful. 
That’s all I came here to say.
And if anyone comments “you don’t know their situation” blah blah blah, all I will do is roll my eyes lol because it doesn’t matter the situation, it’s not okay.

Honestly seeing those posts used to trigger me because my last ex cheated on me with 5 girls that I found on his phone. And from some of the text messages they knew about me. He wasted 3 years of my life and it's been a rollercoaster to overcome this.
But if you purposely know that people is in a relationship, then you're fucking trash. I have no respect for you.

Maybe they’re bored in the quarantine with their partner but if you’re gonna cheat don’t get married or in a serious relationship 🙄

I think it’s still a very small percentage of people, but since they are the ones that post about their relationships it seems like everyone must be dealing with it. I know I felt really down about how many posts I saw about cheating in relationships

I think cheating has become such a normalised scenario in modern society, it’s so common to know someone who has cheated/been cheated on. 
Equally I also think the people on these pages are asking for advice for something that has happened to them, you aren’t going to come on and post about
 “my boyfriend just cooked me dinner, lit some candles, ran me a bath, brought me up a sparkling water with lemon (it’s my current favourite drink/craving) and came back up to the bathroom to safely help me out because I’m pregnant.... no one really cares about that 😂😂”

i’m hip, cheating is an absolute deal breaker for me. i was cheated on for three years by my ex, and i know how it feels, i would wish that pain on my worst enemy. i don’t know why people want others to feel pain.
