Perioral Dermatitis

Question

Does anyone else suffer from perioral dermatitis?? Ive had it since i was around 16/17 and it still is reoccurring, theres no real cure for it but i need some help in general to see what has helped others and maybe itll help me?? THANKs!

Hey there!! I’ve had difficulty with really bad perioral dermatitis for around a year and a half, and I couldn’t find anything to fix it. I had multiple expensive medicines but they never worked or helped, they only worsened it. But after trying a ton of different things, I found something that helped my face, and all of it went away!! I started to use a face wash from a brand called Cetaphil that was made for all skin types and after around a month of using it everyday the dermatitis literally disappeared except for a small spot every now and then. But the face wash was very helpful!! It is still reoccurring on me too, but I still use the face wash as much as possible to prevent it from coming back, I hope that this might be helpful from another person who suffers from this skin problem. I was devastated when I found out that it never goes away so I am so glad I found something to calm it down a lot!!
